A woman desperate to visit her lonely husband at his care home found a clever way around the ban on visitors. She took a job washing dishes at his Florida Alzheimer's care home, just so she could see him during the coronavirus crisis.
Mary Daniel, 57, had been visiting her husband Steve everyday until the pandemic began to take hold in March, and visitors were banned.
As it became clear Covid-19 posed a dangerous threat to elderly and vulnerable people, Florida authorities issued emergency orders halting visits to aged care homes.
Mary's husband's memory care centre was one of many that closed its doors as a precaution, leaving her distraught, CNN reports.
