coronavirus vaccine could be just three months away for Brits – and everyone could have had it by next Easter, it has been reported.
The UK currently has agreements in place to obtain 30million doses of the BioNTech/Pfizer vaccine, 60 million doses of the Valneva vaccine with an option of 40 million more, 100 million doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine that is being developed with the University of Oxford and 60 million doses of a vaccine being developed by Sanofi and GlaxoSmithKline.In August the Government also inked deals with Janssen and Novavax for a further 90 million doses of potential coronavirus vaccines.
