MARYS, Ga. – A coastal Georgia county is a finalist for a space industry project that could bring $40 million in investment, local officials said.Camden County officials won’t name the interested company, which is looking for a headquarters site expected to create about 200 jobs, The Brunswick News reported.

Local officials are calling their effort to woo the company Project Osprey.The interest comes after Camden County has spent years working toward opening a commercial spaceport in the coastal community near the Georgia-Florida line.

The application is awaiting approval of the Federal Aviation Administration.Camden County Administrator Steve Howard says the company eyeing the Georgia coast would bring economic benefits to not just the.

Tequila could become America’s favorite liquor, data trends show

General Declaration on the Protection of the Appellation of Origin Tequila, as put forth by Mexico’s Tequila Regulatory Council. Tequila popularity has been steadily growing since 2002 and in 2021 alone, 26.9 million 9-liter cases of tequila were sold, according to the Distilled Spirits Council. Compared to vodka, which still has the top spot in Americans’ hearts, tequila sales grew by 30.1% compared to vodka sales which only grew by 4.9% in 2021 alone.
