MCALLEN, Tx. - Two south Texas teen brothers have been arrested for beating their stepfather to death after he allegedly sexually abused their half-sister.Alejandro and Christian Trevino, along with friend Juan Eduardo Melendez, all 18, are accused of beating Gabriel Quintanilla, 42, and leaving him to die in a field in McAllen where his body was discovered by a farmer.Multiple media reports say Quintanilla's body was found with apparent severe blunt force trauma to his head.

Brianna Kupfer murder: Alleged suspect Shawn Laval Smith taken into custody in Pasadena

PASADENA, Calif. - Shawn Laval Smith, the suspected killer of Brianna Kupfer, was taken into custody Wednesday in Pasadena in connection with the 24-year-old UCLA grad student's stabbing death, authorities confirmed to FOX 11.He was arrested by Pasadena police officers around 11:50 a.m. at a bus stop near the intersection of E. Colorado Boulevard and Fair Oaks Avenue, approximately 17 miles from the furniture store where Kupfer was murdered, officials said. LAPD has identified a suspect in the murder of Brianna Kupfer.

CAMDEN, N.J. - Authorities say two people have died after a vehicle collided with a fire truck in Camden County Wednesday morning. The crash occurred around 10:30 a.m. near Warwick Road and North White Horse Pike.Authorities say a fire truck from Lawnside was heading southbound on Warwick when it collided with a car that was heading west on White Horse Pike.The two people in the car were killed in the crash, authorities say.

Authorities alleged that Brooking drove Aden Koimene, 18, to the scene of the attempted carjacking and then to the hospital after Koimene was shot by the victim through the car's driver window.
