Slam Dunk Festival shares COVID entry requirements for 2021 event

Slam Dunk Festival organisers have shared an update on what entry requirements will be required for this year’s event as a result of the coronavirus crisis.The North edition of the event, held at Temple Newsam in Leeds will take place on September 4, while Slam Dunk South in Hatfield Park, Hertfordshire will take place on September 5.Headliners for the festival will be Sum 41 and Don Broco, with other names on the bill including Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls, Alkaline Trio, Funeral For A Friend, While She Sleeps, Comeback Kid, The Story So Far, We Are The In Crowd, NOFX and more.Slam Dunk is usually held in May but the festival pushed back its schedule so it could be in line with the recent reopening of live events following ‘freedom

Slam Dunk has shared new dates for its 2021 festival.The North edition of the event, held at Temple Newsam in Leeds will now take place on September 4, while Slam Dunk South in Hatfield Park, Hertfordshire will take place on September 5. All original tickets remain valid.Slam Dunk is usually held in May but, as with thousands of other UK festivals, the festival has had to readjust its schedule in line with the proposed opening up of live events during the coronavirus crisis.Yesterday (February 22) Prime Minister Boris Johnson laid out the roadmap to exiting the current nationwide lockdown and permitting live music to return without the need for social distancing.

Slam Dunk Festival have announced the first names for their 2021 event.The two-day festival will be held in Leeds and Hatfield from May 29-30 next year. This year’s festival, which had been postponed from May to September, was cancelled last month due to the coronavirus outbreak.Slam Dunk have now confirmed the first acts for their 2021 bill, with the festival set to welcome the travelling Punk In Drublic showcase next year.NOFX, Pennywise, Me First And The Gimme Gimmes, Reel Big Fish, the Vandals and Face To Face will all perform, as will Comeback Kid, Days N Daze and the Baboon Show.
