Coronation Street star Simon Gregson has been praised for his 'lovely gesture' after he offered his car and motorbike to NHS workers.
Simon, who plays Corrie's Steve McDonald, wants to thank staff for their tireless efforts caring for people on the frontline of the coronavirus pandemic.
The actor revealed this week that he had contracted COVID-19, saying it was 'bloody awful.' While starting to feel better Simon, from Wythenshawe, says he wants NHS staff to have his classic car and motorbike as a thank you. "Dear NHS workers I have two classic projects (car and bike) if you ride or drive and like fettling old machinery they're yours," he tweeted. "Just a little thank you.
