Shaun Wane has called on Super League’s players to do their bit for England’s 2021 World Cup campaign and minimise any further Covid disruption.

The national boss - who last week signed an extended contract despite not taking charge of a game - admits he’s “fearful” of further outbreaks like the one that has swept through Hull FC.

The Black and Whites have had a total of 12 positive cases in their squad and backroom staff, forcing the cancellation of two matches.

On Wednesday St Helens announced that one non-playing member of staff has also tested positive, but that is not expected to cause any further changes to the Super League schedule.
