We will have to see, of course, what is going to happen in the future."Fitzwilliams also cited the fact that during the opening of Parliament, Charles was on the Council throne, meaning "there is no possibility" of regency powers at the moment.The comments from Fitzwilliams come as Nigel Farage addressed the alleged rise to regency and labelled it "a really sad moment".He said: "It looks as though Prince Charles is becoming Prince Regent which means he will deputise for the Queen on big state occasions, on big international visits with US Presidents or whatever it may be."His comments come as Prince Charles steps up to take on more public.
