Colombo (News 1st) – Rotary International's President, Jennifer Jones, visited the head office of Capital Maharaja Group, the parent company of News 1st, on Thursday (15th), during her 4-day visit to Sri Lanka.
She met with Mr. Sashi Rajamahendran, Chairman of Capital Maharaja Group, and Mr. Chevaan Daniel, Group Director.Ms. Jones was the guest in a Special Edition of Newsline, the premier daily English talk show of News 1st, and was interviewed by host Faraz Shauketaly.
The show airs on Thursday (15th) at 8:30 p.m.Ms. Jones is the first woman President in the 115-year history of Rotary. She is a member of the Rotary Club of Windsor-Roseland, Ontario, Canada, and is the founder and president of Media Street Productions Inc., an award-winning media company in Windsor.
She was chair of the board of governors of the University of Windsor and chair of the Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce.
