outbreak in England. "Hundreds" of people have now turned up a Covid-19 walk-in centre after people who had visited the pub were urged to get tested following the confirmation of 10 positive cases.

Health chiefs asked people who had been working or drinking at the Crown & Anchor in Stone, Staffordshire, on July 16, 17, and 18 to get tested, after an outbreak linked to the premises.

A photo sent to  StokeonTrentLive  by a local resident shows a large group of people in the pub's beer garden on July 18. Witnesses said it looked like 200 people were enjoying themselves.One individual who tested positive from the pub then attended a private social gathering, further spreading the virus, Staffordshire County Council said.The pub said on.
