A pub in Aberdeen has been linked to 13 cases of coronavirus sparking an investigation by public heath officials. The Hawthorn Bar in the city centre is being probed by NHS Grampian after its owners said some drinkers who visited it on July 26 have since tested positive for the killer bug.
So far all those who tested positive are showing only mild symptoms, though the health board says there may be further cases linked to the pub.
The pub had social distancing measures in place and contact tracing is being carried out in line with the Scottish Government's Test and Protect scheme.
