Prince Philip to stay in hospital 'into next week' after health scare

Prince Philip will reportedly remain in hospital into next week for medical observation.The Duke of Edinburgh, 99, was taken to London's King Edward VII Hospital for "rest and observation" earlier this week after feeling unwell at Windsor Castle.He has been told he cannot have any visitors because of Covid-19 rules.Under the strict national guidelines, visitors such as the Queen are only allowed inside under "exceptional circumstances".Following the decision to keep Philip under observation, a source told the BBC that the royal remains in good spirits and that his doctor is acting with an “abundance of caution”.

Philip has been treated at the hospital several times over the years.It is believed he had felt ill days before being ordered to.
