Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Piers Morgan and Harry Kane will headline a star-studded charity golf tournament to be screened in the UK on Friday. Cricket ace Freddie Flintoff and former England internationals Peter Crouch and Jamie Redknapp will also take part in the Paddy Power Golf Shootout.

The competition will involve a mix of celebrities playing alongside Ryder Cup stars Tommy Fleetwood, Thomas Bjorn and Paul McGinley.

Andrew 'Beef' Johnston and Carly Booth are also due at the behind-closed-doors at the Centurion Club in Hertfordshire. The event will revolve around a set of obstacles as golfers welcome the game coming back following coronavirus.
