Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Good Morning Britain star Piers Morgan has hit out at Lord Alan Sugar in another furious Twitter spat. The outspoken television presenter, 55, dubbed the millionaire as "recklessly stupid" when the pair became embroiled in a row over people sunbathing.

Piers said that the Apprentice boss' opinion would kill people as he ended their on-off friendship once and for all. Brits continued to ignore the government's coronavirus lockdown rules over the weekend during the unexpected mini-heatwave, forcing a park in London to close – and leaving Piers furious.

But business tycoon Alan didn't seem to have a problem with members of the public going to catch some rays. Lord Sugar tweeted: "I can't for the life of me understand what @piersmorgan is on
