Dio Garcia of Philadelphia was arrested in Bensalem. BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, Pa. - The Bensalem Township Police Department is touting the success of what they call proactive police work after an armed robbery suspect wanted in Philadelphia was arrested during a traffic stop in the Bucks County town.

Authorities say on Tuesday, just before 10 a.m., patrol officers saw a 2013 Ford Edge commit a violation while going south on Route 1.

According to police, the officers initiated a traffic stop and made contact with 40-year-old Dio Garcia from Philadelphia. A check of the crime system revealed the car Garcia was driving was listed as a felony vehicle with an occupant wanted for a point-of-gun robbery, officials say.

Police say Garcia was also wanted out of Florida on a warrant for a probation violation. MORE LOCAL HEADLINESGarcia was taken into police custody and the Ford Edge was towed by police, authorities say.

California man arrested 10 times in 31 days

(Credit: Clovis Police) CLOVIS, Calif. - California authorities said they have become "very familiar" with one man after they've arrested him 10 times in the last 31 days. 38-year-old Keith Chastain of Fresno was last taken into custody Tuesday morning after Clovis Police received a call about a stolen truck Chastain was suspected of driving. "An observant officer located the stolen truck driving in Old Town Clovis and followed it until additional officers were in the area," officers said in a news release. Authorities initiated a high-risk traffic stop before taking Chastain into custody without incident.RELATED: 2 Virginia inmates escape through hole in wall, captured at IHOPInvestigators said he was the only person in the truck and was on his way to pick up personal property from the police department when they arrested him. Of the 10 arrests, Clovis Police said they've arrested him 10 times and other agencies arrested him the remaining four.

Arlington man killed while taking potential car buyers on test drive, police say

ARLINGTON, Texas - An Arlington man was shot and killed while taking people who he thought wanted to buy his car on a test drive.Arlington police found 55-year-old Khudhair Hamdan dead, lying in the road on Port Richmond Way on Tuesday.Detectives say Hamdan was helping a family member sell a car through a social media app and agreed to take a potential buyer for a test drive.MORE ARLINGTON NEWS HERETwo young men arrived at Hamdan's home later that night, according to police, and the three left in the car together.Detectives believe one of the suspects pulled out a gun and shot Hamdan, who got out of the vehicle and collapsed.The suspects took off in the car.Officers later found the vehicle at the intersection of Matlock Road and Sublett Road.Surveillance images from the area show the two suspects.(Source: Arlington Police) Arlington police ask anyone with information to call 911 or Crime Stoppers of Tarrant County at 817-469-8477.Police are warning the public about meeting up with people online.APD says they have designated safe zones at each of their four patrol stations.

2 faculty members shot at Denver high school, police say

DENVER - Two school administrators were shot at a Denver high school Wednesday morning after a gun was found during a search of a student, authorities said.The juvenile suspect remained at large and the gun was not immediately recovered following the shooting at East High School at about 10 a.m., the Denver Police Department said.One of the administrators was critically injured and the second was in stable condition, Police Chief Ron Thomas said.The victims were taken to area hospitals.A shooting erupted at a Colorado high school on March 22 where so far two adult victims were found, and the unidentified suspect remains on the run, police said. East High School, not far from downtown near a busy street that cuts through the city, was placed on lockdown as police investigated the shooting.It was unclear if the shooting happened inside or outside the school. Denver Public School confirmed the victims were faculty members.Earlier this month students from the school skipped class and and marched to Colorado’s state Capitol to demand stricter gun laws, following the death of a fellow student who was shot while sitting in a car near school.This is a developing story. Police: Man found shot to death inside car still running on West Philadelphia street

PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Police Department's Homicide Unit is investigating a shooting that left one man dead on Tuesday evening. According to authorities, a 29-year-old man was found shot twice in the head in a Chrysler 200 parked in the area of S Cecil & Chestnut Streets. Police say the car was still running when officers arrived on scene and found the victim.
