Perthshire woman who lost her mum to COVID-19 has shared her experience as she urged people to stay aware of the dangers posed by the virus.

Barbara McLagan (96) died in April just days after showing symptoms.Her daughter Flora Wylie has come forward to see her mother remembered in a memorial project to the victims of the pandemic.

Speaking to the Perthshire Advertiser, Flora says she feels some members of the public no longer “associate” with the pathogen which has brought havoc to the world.
