Suspect charged with carjacking, kidnapping after police chase through Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia police arrested a man late Friday night who they believe carjacked two people, including a pizza delivery driver whose family was inside the car when it was stolen.Investigators say a driver for City View Pizza was making a delivery on the 3600 block of North Broad Street around 9 p.m. when Marcel Jenkins hopped into his Saturn L200 and drove away.The delivery driver's 25-year-old wife and 2 young children were inside the car when it was stolen, according to police.

PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia police are searching for a delivery driver's family after his car was stolen with his wife and two children inside in the city's Tioga section.It happened at Broad Street and Erie Avenue around 8:40 p.m. Friday.According to police, the delivery driver for City View Pizza was making a delivery with his 25-year-old wife, and his two children a 4-year-old and 2-year-old kids when a man jumped inside the car and took off with the family inside. The suspect is described a Black male, around 5-foot-9, with a medium build.
