Amid a worsening third wave, Ontario is broadening the age group of people able to receive the Astrazeneca vaccine. Starting Tuesday, people 40 and over will be eligible to receive the vaccine.
This comes after the National Advisory Committee on Immunization’s statement last month that it did not recommend Astrazeneca in those under 55 due to the risk of blood clots.
