Nicola Sturgeon announces 32 new coronavirus deaths in Scotland amid 1,018 cases

In the last 24 hours, there has been 32 new recorded deaths, and 1,018 fresh infections were recorded in the same time period.The figures take the total number of confirmed cases in Scotland to 86,630.There are currently 1,234 people in hospital with Covid-19, while there are 88 being treated in intensive care.The figures were revealed today ahead of new Tier changes taking effect today from 6pm.Nicola Sturgeon also announced that 11 Scottish local authority areas will move into Tier 4, the strictest level of restrictions.The new rules include travel restrictions with those in Tier 3 and Tier 4 areas told to remain in their council area.Despite non-essential.
