NEWS DELHI : India’s covid-19 vaccination coverage on Sunday neared 91-crore mark and is expected to breach the 100-crore mark this month.
More than 88.94 crore vaccine doses have been provided to states/Union territories (UTs) so far through the Government of India (free of cost channel) and through direct state procurement category.
More than 5.38 crore covid-19 vaccine doses are still available with states/UTs, the central government said. At least 22,842 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours.
The Union health ministry data showed that active caseload is presently 270,557, which is the lowest in 199 days. Active cases presently constitute 0.80% of the country's total positive cases.
