The cases were discovered as part of a mass testing programme to contain the further spread of the virus in Moston and Harpurhey, which is being wound down today (March 3).
Public health officials set up testing sites in the area after discovering cases of the E484K variant, a mutation of the Kent strain which had also been found in Moss Side in January.
While the testing site at Ebsworth Street in Moston will close today at 5pm, residents are still being urged to follow social distancing measures, wear masks, and minimise contact with people outside their household.Since mid-February, volunteers.
