Long Covid symptoms to look out for as third of school staff and 10% of secondary pupils affected

The Schools Infection Survey was set up to monitor the prevalence of Covid infection and presence of antibodies among pupils and staff within a sample of schools in England.

It found that a number reported experiencing ongoing symptoms more than four weeks from the start of their infection. Of those experiencing ongoing symptoms, the most common symptom reported was ‘weakness/tiredness’ by both staff (59.6%) and pupils (46.3%).
