Flooding across the Delaware Valley: Delays, traffic and warnings as storms roll in Tuesday

PHILADELPHIA - With the Tuesday morning commute in full swing, heavy rain is causing flooding and possibly dangerous conditions in Philadelphia and its surrounding suburbs.Storms are just getting started in the Delaware Valley with downpours expected all day into the evening hours, and possibly overnight. Several areas are already experiencing some flooding, and its effects, as a Flash Flood Warning has been issued for several counties.In Montgomery County, a Norristown inbound train has been delayed at SEPTA's Conshohocken Station due to high water conditions.Traffic along I-76 has been delayed for the past hour near King of Prussia and Gulf Mills after water started to flood the road.

Flooding closes multiple roads in southern N.J., interior portions of Philly suburbs

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. - Flooding concerns became all too evident Sunday, as the remnants of Hurricane Ian flooded roads down the shore and some interior sections of Philadelphia suburbs.Route 40 into and out of Atlantic City was closed because of flooding. Some of the streets looked like rivers and water even towered high above storm drains.Route 30 out of Atlantic City was also closed for a period of time because of coastal flooding.Some roads were also reportedly underwater in Sea Isle City and Wildwood.Ocean, Atlantic, and Cape May Counties in New Jersey are still under a coastal flood warning.

Kidney patients concerned about closing of DaVita Dialysis Center in Coatesville

COATESVILLE, Pa. - A Chester County man dependent on dialysis said he was told that his treatment center would close with a little over a weeks notice, raising concerns about where he will get the life-saving treatment. Emmett Hunt has been going to Davita Coatesville Dialysis three times a week for nearly four years. Hunt, 71, is a kidney renal failure patient. Last Wednesday, Arvilla Hunt said she was told that her husband's treatment center will close on Friday.
