Salford now has the highest coronavirus infection rate in Greater Manchester. Rates have gone up in six boroughs across the region, fallen in three and stayed level in one area.
Salford replaces Rochdale as the area with the worst infection rate. The city recorded a rate of 448.8 cases per 100,000 people in the week ending November 23, according to the latest data from the UK Health Security Agency.
The lowest infection rate is in Oldham, where the rate is 297.5 cases per 100,000 people.
