The Jets defeated the Raiders 34 ROSWELL, Ga. - The Boston University CTE Center confirmed Tuesday that former Georgia Tech football standout and NFL star Demaryius Thomas had Stage 2 CTE when he died suddenly in December 2021.
Thomas was 33 years old when he was found dead in his home in Roswell. Police said at the time he died from a medical issue.
Thomas' family donated his brain to the Boston University CTE Center. In a statement, Boston University researchers said they noticed signs of the disease in Thomas' brain.
