NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A man who is accused of "randomly" attacking a person at a laundromat in Tennessee and is a suspect in a series of other similar attacks was arrested, according to authorities. Khadree Renfro, 30, was taken into custody last week by the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department and booked on three counts of attempted criminal homicide, officials said. The police department previously shared footage from inside a laundromat in the Nashville area which showed a man "who randomly, and without provocation," attacked a 45-year-old patron on March 22. "He is a suspect in 3 other similar attacks on 3/16, 18 and 19. PHILADELPHIA - City leaders in Philadelphia reiterated Monday that the tap water is safe to use following a chemical spill in Bucks County, but their reassurance has not been enough to quell the concerns of some residents who rushed to the stores to stock up on bottled water. Health officials in Bucks County, just north of Philadelphia, said Sunday that a leak late Friday evening at the Trinseo Altuglas chemical facility in Bristol Township spilled between 8,100 and 12,000 gallons (30,700 and 120,000 liters) of a water-based latex finishing solution. Officials said it is non-toxic to humans, and no known adverse health effects have been reported in the county.Mike Carroll, deputy managing director for the city’s Office of Transportation, Infrastructure and Sustainability, said Monday evening that the office believes water in city taps will be unaffected until at least 3:30 p.m.

The Human Rights Committee on Thursday (9) concluded its consideration of the sixth periodic report of Sri Lanka on how it implements the provisions of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, with Committee Experts commending actions taken to resettle internally displaced persons, and raising issues concerning the effectiveness of constitutional reform and impunity for military officers who had allegedly committed or overseen human rights violations.A Committee Expert noted progress made in settling internally displaced persons. PHILADELPHIA - A years-old binge-drinking concoction popularized on college campuses is getting a second-life via social media, causing parents and health experts alike to warn young adults about its dangers. The Black Out Rage Gallon, commonly shortened to "BORG," is being blamed for sending nearly three dozen people to the hospital at the University of Massachusetts' Amherst campus. The university sent out a warning to students and families after sickened students were seen carrying jugs containing BORG mix. The dangerous drink is often times a mixture of water, vodka, caffeinated flavor enhancer and electrolyte powder.
