Kate Garraway has said that her husband Derek Draper has "huge challenges ahead" following his lengthy and gruelling battle with coronavirus.The presenter, 54, issued an update about her husband, 53, to her guest co-host Alastair Campbell, who previously worked alongside former political lobbyist Derek, on Friday's Good Morning Britain.
Kate revealed that Derek is a "long way out of the woods" but that they have seen "some things improve" since he returned to the family home in April.The presenter and her two children Darcey, 15, and Billy, 11, were left devastated when Derek was rushed to hospital in March 2020 after his body reacted badly to coronavirus.
