Kate Garraway has told that she at first ignored some sage advice from Piers Morgan when her husband fell ill with Covid-19.
Good Morning Britain's Kate has penned The Power of Hope, which documents her nightmare year after husband Derek was hospitalised with the virus.
He was hospitalised in April and doctors put him into a coma the following month. Derek's now back at home with Kate and the kids, but requires round-the-clock care.
Meanwhile Kate told Iain Dale on LBC Radio yesterday that the book may never had happened after she ignored Piers' urging to take notes. "It was actually Piers Morgan who very early on...said 'you've got to write this down'," Kate recalled. "And I didn't, really, because they're didn't seem time to write
