Kate Garraway has confirmed that her husband Derek Draper is back in hospital amid his Covid recovery.The Good Morning Britain presenter, 55, gave an update of husband's health at this afternoon's Tric Awards.

She said: "He's okay. He's back in hospital actually, so that's a development.There we are." Derek has been recovering from the effects of coronavirus since he caught it in 2020.

Although he doesn't have the virus anymore, he has been suffering from the damage that has occurred in his organs. Speaking recently to Good Housekeeping magazine, Kate said: "When you nearly lose someone, it certainly brings everything into sharp focus.
