NHS Covid-19 app has finally launched in England and Wales today, September 24. NHS says it’s “the fastest way of knowing when you’re at risk from coronavirus ”.
The Track and Trace app is available to download on iPhone and Android, and uses an Apple and Google-developed system. More specifically, it uses Bluetooth to keep an anonymous log of people a user has been close to.If someone becomes ill with coronavirus, they can log it on the app, which will then send notifications to all app users the system deems has been in close contact with.Further guidance on what that person should do will automatically be sent.The app has a number of features, including Trace, Alert, Check-in, Symptoms, Test and Isolate.Simply open the Google Play store,.
