LANDSDALE, Pa. - Three people were injured in a triple shooting in Landsdale, Pennsylvania on Thursday night, according to police. Authorities say the shooting happened around 10 p.m. on Hancock Street. According to police, two victims were transported to area hospitals and the third victim was transported by an ambulance to Abington Hospital. The conditions of the victims remain unknown at this time. SKYFOX flew over the scene on Thursday night when the scene was still active and several emergency vehicles were spotted. FOX 29's Shaynah Ferreira contacted Landsdale Police, but police have not yet released more information. This is a developing story.

OAKLAND, Calif. - The family and friends of the three immigrant men who drowned while rescuing a boy from the delta in Sacramento are hoping to send their bodies back to their native Guatemala.Wendy Rivas of Oakland started a GoFundMe for her father Edwin "Guistillo" Rivas, 57, and his friends, Edwin Perez, 22, and Danilo Gutiérrez, 40. All of them lived in Oakland, working jobs in construction. Friend William Ramos told KTVU that the men and other families vacationed together near Brannan Island every Fourth of July for camping and family fun. The trio had been fishing Sunday near the Three Mile Slough Bridge in Sacramento County, when they saw an 8-year-old who was with their group struggling in the water. They and two others jumped into the river and pulled the boy to safety, officials said. The boy had been wading into the water and got pulled away, and he wasn't wearing a life jacket. 3 men drown in Sacramento river after pulling an 8-year-old child out of the water.But only two men were able to get out of the water. Rivas, Perez and Gutiérrez never surfaced. Their bodies were recovered from the delta on Tuesday evening, according to the Rio Vista Fire Department. Their friend, Juan Cabrera, told KCRA3 all of them had tried to save the boy, but the strong winds and current were too much in the Sacramento San Joaquin River Delta system."Far too many lives have been lost in our waterways and in the lakes and rivers of Northern California over the past few weeks," the Rio Vista Fire Department said.

NEW DELHI : India has recorded 18,815 new cases and 38 deaths due to Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, data from the Union health ministry showed. The total number of active cases currently stands at 122,335, with around 525,343 fatalities reported due to the virus in the last two years. The total Covid cases have climbed to 43,585,554 so far.

As compared to yesterday's tally, India today reported 115 less daily COVID cases. The country also recorded a significant increase in recoveries with 1,249 more patients recovering today than yesterday. India recorded 18,815 fresh COVID cases and 38 deaths in the last 24 hours, as per the Health Ministry data.

Japan’s former prime minister Shinzo Abe was in grave condition after reportedly being shot during a campaign speech in the western city of Nara on Friday.The country’s chief cabinet secretary Hirokazu Matsuno said the 67-year-old’s condition was unknown, but local fire officials confirmed local media reports that Abe was in heart failure when he was rushed to hospital.Authorities have arrested one man suspected to be the gunman.“Such an act of barbarity cannot be tolerated,” Matsuno told reporters at a media briefing.Kyodo News and public broadcaster NHK said witnesses heard a gunshot, followed by Abe collapsing to the ground bleeding. An NHK reporter on the scene said they could hear two consecutive bangs during Abe’s speech.NHK aired footage showing Abe holding his chest when he collapsed, with his shirt smeared with blood, as several security guards ran toward him.

A computer glitch that double counted some cases already reported yesterday resulted in today’s case numbers being incorrectly reported as 13,344. The correct figure is 9,318 which is around the same level as case numbers reported for the past three days.

PHILADELPHIA - A Delaware community gathered Thursday for the welcomed return of a sorely missed outlet of summertime fun for kids and teens alike. "Play Streets," hosted in Wilmington, is a free event that closes down select streets for families and friends to partake in activities and sports. Organizers launched Play Streets in 2018, but they were forced to pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Organizers and parents say families need these community events, especially at a time when crime is up in cities across the country.  "It's definitely important for them to understand that they are safe in their communities, to come outside and have fun," Parent and Community Advocate Marlise Carr said.Basketball, hula-hoop, golf, jump rope and skateboarding were just a few of the activities that children and teens played in the first of eight planned block parties. "We have a responsibility to the community, we have to step up more into community partner - collaborate with no fear - because we move in spirit of love," Rashid Mustafa said. A full list of Play Street dates and locations have been posted on the City of Wilmington's social media pages.

Philadelphia police seek the driver of a blue Ford F 150 after an 11-year-old boy was struck on West Girard Avenue. WEST PHILADELPHIA - An 11-year-old boy is fighting for his life after he was struck by a driver in a pickup truck in West Philadelphia.Officials say the incident occurred on the 4200 block of West Girard Avenue Thursday evening, around 7:45.The boy was crossing Girard Avenue when a man driving a blue Ford F 150 struck him.

He was last seen during his graveyard shift at the Industrial Recycling & Recovery, Inc.

PHILADELPHIA - Authorities have identified a man accused of sexually assaulting a woman at an office building in Center City. Police say Willie L. Harris, 43, is accused of sexually assaulting a woman Tuesday afternoon in an office building on the 200 block of South 13th Street. Investigators believe the suspect went to the 8th floor of the building and entered an unlocked office just after 2 p.m. The 22-year-old victim was alone in the office because her co-worked stepped out to get lunch, according to police. Police are looking for a man they say sexually assaulted a 22-year-old inside an office building in Center City Tuesday afternoon.Investigators say the suspect demanded the victim stay seated as he rummaged through the office.

Wagner Tejeda-Pena, 24, is wanted for allegedly shooting a 76-year-old man who was out on his routine morning walk in Philadelphia in June 2021.  PHILADELPHIA - Police have announced the name of a homicide suspect wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of a man in Philadelphia. Authorities say 24-year-old Wagner Tejeda-Pena is wanted for the murder of 76-year-old Loi Nguyen, who was found shot once in the head near his driveway in the alleyway behind L and Claridge Streets in late June. Authorities say a man, identified by family members as 76-year-old Loi Nguyen, was shot in the head on his routine morning walk. Nguyen is remembered by neighbors for his friendliness.According to police, Ngueyn was out for his routine morning walk in his neighborhood when he was shot unprovoked. The incident was captured on surveillance video and footage from a neighbor is believed to show Tejeda-Pena running down an alleyway towards Hunting Park after the shooting. Police say the suspect is also wanted for an aggravated assault on the 1200 block of East Luzerne Street that took place about 15 minutes before the deadly shooting.According to authorities, Tejeda-Pena pulled out a handgun on two people and pulled the trigger several times, but the gun malfunctioned and did not fire.

MOUNT LAUREL, N.J. - Costco’s new gas policy went into effect a few days ago, one in which a person is required to be a Costco member in order to get the discounted gasoline price in New Jersey. But, that rule doesn’t apply in Mount Laurel.What makes it different? It all comes down to the legal fine print."As far as we know?
