In response to questions in today’s press conference, he said the data showed the UK was ‘precisely on track for where we expected to be’.
This will mean stage three of the government’s roadmap out of coronavirus lockdown will see allowances for some indoor mixing between households, restaurants being able to serve indoors and indoor entertainment venues such as cinemas reopening.
