Nine of the region's 10 boroughs saw a week-on-week increase in C ovid cases, the latest figures show. Only Manchester saw its infection rate fall.
Oldham continues to have the highest infection rate in the region. The borough recorded a rate of 658.3 cases per 100,000 people in the week ending July 12, according to the latest data from Public Health England.
