More senior Government discussions will be held today to finalise the details of the medium term Covid-19 plan. The framework, due to be published tomorrow, will set out five levels of the virus and related restrictions that will apply across the country for the next six to nine months.
Taoiseach Micheál Martin has said that living with the Covid-19 virus will be normal for a considerable time. The Cabinet subcommittee on Covid-19 meets again today to hammer out the details in the new plan for living with the virus.
The final version will be agreed at a full Cabinet meeting tomorrow. It is understood it is possible that Dublin could be placed on a higher level of the plan due to the prevalence of the disease in the capital.
