Godzilla vs. Kong continues to dominate. The mega-monster movie stayed strong at No. 1 at the box office over the past weekend, making it the top-grossing Hollywood movie of the pandemic globally, THR reported Sunday (April 18).
The movie pushed past the $390 million mark globally, beating out Tenet‘s global earnings of $365 million last year. It also brought in $7.7 million in the United States, reaching $80.5 million in its third week domestically.

Kong beat out Christopher Nolan’s Tenet, which earned $58.4 million, and was the previous highest-grossing film of the pandemic era.
