Kendrick Lamar, Sir Paul McCartney and Taylor Swift were supposed to be the headline acts at this year’s Glastonbury Festival.
The trio were due to be supported by Diana Ross in Sunday’s Legends slot, along with the likes of Noel Gallagher ’s High Flying Birds, Dua Lipa and Fatboy Slim, as the festival celebrated its 50th anniversary.
Those plans have been scuppered by the coronavirus, but organisers have promised that next year will celebrate half a century of music at Worthy Farm.
In a statement, organisers Michael and Emily Eavis have said: “We were so looking forward to welcoming you all for our 50th anniversary with a line-up full of fantastic artists and performers that we were incredibly proud to have booked.” Glastonbury 2021
