A schoolgirl was left fighting for her life after her 'chicken pox' turned out to be a reaction to Covid-19 she didn't know she'd had.
Millie Denvers, 6, fell ill on the evening of Saturday December 12, shortly after three other children in her class reported having chicken pox.
Her mum said Millie had a few spots and looked pale to start, but shortly after began vomiting and burning up with a temperature of 39.9 degrees.
By Monday she was sleepy and not eating, but her temperature was normal. She was still being sick, and by the night was crying with pain.
