ORLANDO, Fla. – In less than 24 hours, Florida will likely surpass a death toll of 9,000 from the coronavirus, which was first detected in the state less than six months ago.The Florida Department of Health reported 8,109 new positive cases on Wednesday, bringing Florida’s total number of confirmed cases to 550,901 since the pandemic first arrived more than five months ago.

Group of men assault, rob man of nearly $30K in Northeast Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA - Police are investigating after four men broke into a home and assaulted a man in Northeast Philadelphia.
