ST. PAUL, Minn. (FOX 9) - A federal trial jury have found the three other Minneapolis police officers guilty of violating George Floyd's civil rights.The three former Minneapolis police officers were found guilty on all five counts, as read in the courtroom around 4:10 p.m.
Thursday. Tou Thao and J. Alexander Kueng was found guilty on both charges, for failing to render medical aid to George Floyd and failing to intervene in Derek Chauvin’s unreasonable use of force.
Thomas Lane was found guilty for failing to render medical aid to George Floyd.The jury determined the verdict after 13 hours of deliberating – Seven hours on Wednesday, another six on Thursday.
The jury started deliberating just before 10 a.m. Wednesday. The case went to the jury after four weeks of testimony from more than 30 witnesses including all three defendants.
