The 30-year-old Love Island favourite has been left devastated by 20-year-old Llŷr's passing this week - shortly before he was due to start medical school.

Taking to his Instagram page yesterday, Alex thanked fans for their support as he admitted that he was struggling to process what has happened.

Ruth, 60, was among the stars to comment on the emotional post, admitting that she understood his pain after her sister Julia took her own life last June at the age of 62.
