Covid vaccine passports will become legally enforced from today in Scotland after a two-week grace period for businesses to get used to the system ended.

The Scottish Government introduced the scheme on October 1, however it allowed firms across the country a period of time to get up and running with it.

Proof of your vaccine status will now be needed to enter late-night venues open after midnight where alcohol is served and there is music and dancing.

People attending football and rugby matches, or any event of any nature, where there are more than 10,000 spectators in attendance will need to show certification as well.
