COVID-19: No new restrictions in Alberta, Saskatchewan to slow Omicron spread

Students in Alberta are getting an extended winter break, but the province says it won’t bring in any more restrictions heading into the new year.

Neither is Saskatchewan, where students are going back to class next week as planned. As Heather Yourex-West explains, the prairie provinces are hoping a lighter touch will get them through this Omicron wave. .
