Join thousands of others who have signed up for the Daily Record newsletter.There have been no new coronavirus deaths in Renfrewshire for the fourth consecutive week.The death toll for the area in which Covid-19 is noted on the death certificate remains at 206.New figures, released this afternoon, show there have been no further deaths linked to the virus since the week of July 6.To date 99 people have died in care homes, 98 in hospital and a further nine at home.The figures mean Renfrewshire remains in the top five local authority areas worst affected by the disease.The new statistics, released by the National Records of Scotland, come a week after Nicola Sturgeon confirmed a cluster of Covid-19 cases in the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
