The Middlesex-London Health Unit reported seven new COVID-19 cases and 13 recoveries on Sunday.This brings the region’s pandemic case total to 12,426, of which 12,108 have resolved.
At least 96 cases are active.A total of 222 COVID-19-related deaths have been reported during the pandemic. The most recent death was reported Friday and involved a man in his 30s; it was the region’s second COVID-19-related death to involve someone in that age group.The London-Middlesex region has seen 178 cases so far this month, with nine days of case increases below 20.
In comparison, the first 10 days of April and May saw 1,207 and 776 cases respectively, with April recording eight days of 100-plus cases.
