Rutherglen and Cambuslang remained fairly static. Figures published by Public Health Scotland revealed there were 416 new cases of the virus between Sunday, February 14, and Saturday, February 20.The number of new cases in the region is now at its lowest since week beginning December 6 with 1.3 new cases recorded for every 1,000 residents.Last week was the sixth consecutive week that case numbers fell across South Lanarkshire following a spike after Christmas and New Year.Douglas, Coalburn and Rigside and Little Earnock recorded the highest number of new cases last week at 19 as no neighbourhood recorded more than 20 cases for the first time since the week beginning December 13.That equates to 4.43 and 2.8 new cases for every 1000 residents.
