'Silly seal alert!' Seal pup rescued trying to cross highway in Ocean County

OCEAN COUNTY, N.J. - Why did the baby seal cross the road? To go on an adorable adventure, of course!Unfortunately the pup's day out in Ocean County was cut short when it had to be rescued by some lucky police officers earlier this week."Silly seal alert!" Police investigate deadly box truck, cherry picker accident in Mercer County

MERCER COUNTY, N.J. - An accident involving a cherry picker and box truck claimed the life of at least one person in Mercer County Monday morning.Police responded to the scene on Gold Drive, a very industrial area in Hamilton Township.Caution tape surrounded a cherry picker and box truck as officers investigated what is said to be an accidental, not criminal incident.MORE HEADLINES:One person has been confirmed dead, however, their identity has yet to be released.FOX 29 was live on the scene as power lines could be seen hanging lower near the accident.Police have not said what caused the deadly incident, or any other details at this time.This is a developing story.

U-Haul leads police on 90 mph chase through more than 50 streets across Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia police were taken on a wild chase across the city by a U-Haul reaching speeds of 90 mph, and only ending because its gas tank finally hit empty.From South Philadelphia to Center City and eventually Germantown, several officers joined in the effort to stop the driver of U-Hail van early Wednesday morning.The chase went through more than 50 streets across Philadelphia, and came to an end on Newhall Street when police say the van ran out of gas.MORE HEADLINES:Four people have been taken into custody in connection to the chase; two adult men, a woman and a juvenile.A police radio was found inside the U-Haul, which police say had its decals removed, and license plate replaced.Law enforcement sources told FOX 29's Steve Keeley that the suspects were wanted in connection to a robbery turned shooting at a South Philadelphia 7-Eleven earlier this week.This is a developing story.
