PHILADELPHIA - Family members and loved ones of a Philadelphia senior citizen who died following an attack by a group of kids gathered to mourn and demand change. Authorities say 73-year-old James Lambert was attacked by a group of youths last month on the 2100 block of Cecil B. Moore Avenue around 3 a.m.The Philadelphia Police Department released surveillance video of the attack and announced a $20k reward for information leading to an arrest in the case. The video appeared to show a group of teens surrounding Lambert and some of them could be seen picking up a traffic cone and hitting Lambert. RELATED COVERAGEOfficials say Lambert was knocked to the ground during the attack.

Nearly three months after his arrest, the D.A.'s office withdrew the charges saying the investigation "did not support the initial charges or account relayed by law enforcement at that time."Upon his arrest, Adams was also charged in two other indecent exposure incidents that occurred in the previous two months.

PHILADELPHIA - Authorities say five people were hurt and several cars were vandalized when three unruly swimmers became violent after being told to leave a Philadelphia pool. The incident happened Thursday afternoon at the McVeigh Playground Rec Center on the 400 block of East Ontario Street, according to police.Investigators say staff members repeatedly asked three female swimmers to leave for "unruly behavior" but they refused and became hostile. PHILADELPHIA - Authorities are searching for a gunman who police say opened fire on a car in broad daylight last weekend in Philadelphia. The Philadelphia Police Department shared video of the shooting that happened on the 1800 block of South 54th Street in Southwest Philadelphia last Sunday. The unknown shooter is seen walking past the victim's car, then returning a short time later and trying to open the passenger's side door. When the car starts to pull away, the alleged shooter fires multiple shots at the front windshield before the car speeds off. Authorities said there were two people inside the victim's car, but no injuries were reported. Anyone with information on the shooting is urged to call the Philadelphia Police Department at 215-686-8477.

PHILADELPHIA - Family members of a woman and two children who were struck by a hit-and-run driver in Philadelphia say they forgive the wanted person and called it a miracle that the crash did not result in deadly injuries. Officers responded to the intersection of 50th Street and Haverford Avenue Monday night for reports of a hit-and-run. Investigators said a 29-year-old woman and two girls, ages 3 and 13, were standing on the roadside when a vehicle hopped the curb and struck all three. The woman, later identified as Serena Grigsby, suffered a severe leg injury and was taken to Penn Presbyterian Hospital in critical condition.

Indiana pizza delivery man who was injured while saving two children and three teens from a burning house last week has raised more than half a million dollars.Nicholas Bostic, a 25-year-old from Lafayette, Ind., was hailed as a hero after he rescued the five youths. Bostic noticed a house on fire while driving around at night and risked his life — even jumping out of a window with a six-year-old in his arms — to save the occupants.Bostic had to be flown to nearby Indianapolis for treatment of severe smoke inhalation and a large gash on his right arm.
