A 10-year-old boy is stuck in a Covid-19 quarantine hotel after flying alone to the UK to be reunited with his father. Furious dad Antonio Caraballo, from Marchmont, Edinburgh, said he's been forced to pay £2,400 to isolate with his son Sami at a DoubleTree by Hilton airport hotel for 11 nights of the boy's two-week trip.
The pair only have 15 minutes of fresh air every day during an escorted tour of the Edinburgh hotel's car park and Sami won't eat his meals, key worker Antonio told the Daily Record.
The youngster, who lives with his mum in Helsinki, Finland, flew on his own to Scotland to be with his dad and three-year-old sister after several months of being apart from each other.
