Canon says Arby’s has received several complaints by various people about her conduct in the past. "Arby’s knew their manager was angry and violent, because they had received multiple complaints from various people about her before this occurred, and they did little or nothing to prevent this horrible incident from happening," Canon wrote in a statement to FOX TV Stations.

Canon says Mrs. Hairston has a long road ahead for recovery but is in good spirits, despite being in immense pain. "We are seeking full and fair justice for the medical bills, pain and suffering and mental and emotional toll this is taking on her and her family.

Obviously, this was also a traumatic event for her daughters to witness, who were in the back seat. We are seeking compensatory and punitive damages to make sure that this never happens to anyone ever again.

NORTH WILDWOOD, N.J. - Erosion from an early May storm is keeping some beaches in North Wildwood closed on the eve of the unofficial start of summer. FOX 29's Shaynah Ferreira visited North Wildwood Friday morning as crews continued working onshore. North Wildwood Mayor Patrick Rosenello says out of the town's 30 guarded beaches, about eight or nine of them will not be ready to open Memorial Day weekend. Rosenello also says crews are about two weeks behind schedule due to the nor'easter that moved through the area on Mother's Day. He is also urging people who see sand piles to stay away from them because they could be unstable. Areas between 10th Street and 19th Street have been impacted by the delays, but the mayor recommends visitors go to beaches north or south of those affected areas. Rosenello says North Wildwood is looking forward to summer and the community is ready to welcome visitors back for sand and fun.Advertisement"This is definitely the first normal summer season since 2019," he said.

Twitter shareholders sue Musk, say he ‘deflated’ stock price

SAN FRANCISCO - Twitter shareholders have filed a lawsuit accusing Elon Musk of engaged in "unlawful conduct" aimed at sowing doubt about his bid to buy the social media company.The lawsuit filed late Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California claims the billionaire Tesla CEO has sought to drive down Twitter’s stock price because he wants to walk away from the deal or negotiate a substantially lower purchase price.San Francisco-based Twitter is also named as a defendant in the lawsuit, which seeks class action status as well as compensation for damages.A representative for Musk did not immediately respond to a message for comment on Thursday.
