Albion Rovers are set to return to action tomorrow against Stirling ending weeks on the sidelines due to Covid. A coronavirus outbreak has blighted the League Two side in recent weeks with the game against Cowdenbeath postponed last week with seven players and staff testing positive.

With several others self-isolating, the club were unable to field a matchday squad and now face an SPFL probe. The week before Rovers were forced to forfeit their Betfred Cup clash with Hamilton was due to a spread of the virus.

The last outing for Brian Reid's squad was the group stage 5-1 defeat to Annan on November 10, but understands Rovers will be back in action at Clfitonhill tomorrow after training this week.
